What will you be doing?
The Head of Sales is a result-driven leader of the Acquiring Sales team that will identify new business acquisition targets and develop sales metrics to achieve the goals. In this role, you will demonstrate leadership, mentoring, coaching, motivation and great people skills in order to consistently inspire direct reports. The position will help create a sustainable model for future growth as well as constantly improving the strategic goals of the team. Further, you will contribute to the launch of the end-to-end merchant acquiring solution and digital payment platform. Both are ground-breaking and industry-disrupting products set to make significant industry impacts. Importantly, in this role you will:
Shape and drive the Acquiring’s strategy to become an industry leader.
Identify promising verticals that will help Acquiring grow a successful sale and leads pipeline.
Build and lead a high performing sales team to hit ambitious ever-growing targets.
Maintain a solid, well-organised portfolio and nurture key accounts.
Represent Novatti at industry events and conferences to expand Novatti’s brand and increase awareness of Novatti’s capabilities and products.
Create a culture of continuous improvement through regular analysis of the team’s performance – being the reactive and inspiring change.
What would make you a good candidate?
You have a tertiary qualification in sales and/ or business/commerce degree with extensive commercial experience.
You have an existing and established network across the Australian payments landscape and a strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset in delivering innovative customer-focused sales solutions.
You have experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in a B2B environment, focusing on strategy and leading commercial conversations with decision-makers.
You have the knowledge of Sales principles and a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement innovative change strategies, including an ability to self-manage multiple activities and competing demands.
You have the ability to understand the technical and functional capabilities of complex products and data assets.
You are motivated by a fast-paced environment where you will have to constantly adapt with a can-do attitude – no two days are the same, seriously!
